With assistance from the World Bank, Palestine is seeking to further the rich potential of its tourism. Palestine has the rich history, much of it shared with Israel and vice-versa, but does it have the guides to tell the story, provide the human connection with the past and thus enhance the value of the experience for both the traveler and the host country? That is where the World Bank effort comes into play. It can enrich economically as well as culturally the experience for all, and tourism is a great opportunity to build bridges among neighbors, far away and near.
